Unique Needs

We like to think we’ve thought of everything but once in a while a customer asks us to provide a unique solution to a unique need.

Colleague recruitment software is highly customisable straight out of the box and in most cases a simple bit of reconfiguring with help from our technical support team should see you quickly underway. We found this with one of our more unusual clients, Virgin Galactic.

Virgin Galactic needed a system with which they could manage the ‘Astronauts’ signing up for their pioneering space flights. They needed a centralised database which could be accessed by their main Mission Control administration centre as well as several other astronaut ‘recruitment’ bases around the world. With a little help we had Colleague managing all of the essential information and processes which will enable Virgin Galactic to stay in touch with their clients and ensure they’re all set and ready for take off when the countdown starts.

Occasionally we’re asked if Colleague can provide a particular piece of functionality which isn’t included in the vast list of whistles and bells Colleague comes with as standard.

When that happens, our fantastic technical support team really comes into its own because unlike some techies you may have encountered our guys really relish a challenge. Ask them if something can be done and the default answer is always ‘let’s find out’ never an instinctive ‘no’. They have the same can-do attitude which permeates throughout the entire company and, of course, being Microsoft certified software engineers helps a bit too.
